OBITUARY last year parted ways with bassist Frank Watkins and replaced him with Terry Butler (SIX FEET UNDER, MASSACRE).
Watkins has been a touring and recording member of the Norwegian black metal band GORGOROTH since December 2007.
OBITUARY’s new concert DVD, “Live Xecution – Party.San 2008”, was filmed at 2008’s Party.San Open Air festival, which was held in Bad Berka, Germany.
“Darkest Day”, the latest album from OBITUARY, landed at position No. 32 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.
