Krisiun: Performance Footage Of New Song Available

Fan-filmed video footage of Brazilian death metalers KRISIUN performing a brand new song this past Saturday, April 9 at Hangar 110 in São Paulo, Brazil can be viewed below.

KRISIUN will enter Stage One Studios in Bühne, Germany in May to begin recording its eighth full-length album for a fall release via Century Media Records. The CD will once again be produced by Andy Classen, who previously worked with the band on the “Conquerors Of Armageddon” (1999), “AssasiNation” (2005) and “Southern Storm” (2008) releases.

Shortly after the completing the new album recordings, KRISIUN will kick off a European tour on May 7 at Metalfest in Austria. During the summer months, the band will play a number of open-air festivals and club gigs all over Europe.

KRISIUN’s previously unreleased bonus track from the “Southern Storm” album, “Infested Waters” , is available for streaming on the band’s MySpace page.

In a 2009 interview with Washington Post’s Express Night Out, KRISIUN’s Alex Camargo stated about KRISIUN being a family project, “With bands, I know how hard it is to keep the lineup, keep the ideas flowing together. But whenever we have problems, we clear it out right away. We’re not turning our backs to each other and walking away. We have issues like any other band, but we solve the problems right away. The music is our passion, and we pretty much have the same ideas and tastes. . . “Sometimes you just get tired of seeing those guys, but it’s no big deal. The touring thing, you have to be ready. You have to understand people’s qualities and faults, and we ‘re all a bunch of human beings, so it’s about understanding each other. Sometimes we get on each other’s nerves, but we go for it no matter what.”
