L.A. GUNS — featuring Phil Lewis, Steve Riley, Stacey Blades and Scotty Griffin — recently entered the studio with legendary producer, and old friend, Andy Johns (LED ZEPPELIN, THE ROLLING STONES, CINDERELLA, VAN HALEN, as well as the last three L.A. GUNS albums) to begin recording its new album for a late 2012 release via Cleopatra Records. According to a posting on the band’s Facebook page, “The record’s all mixed. Next stage running order and mastering. 14 band new songs coming at ya this summer.”
A CD and vinyl release, as well as bonus tracks available only on iTunes, is planned. A nine-month world tour following the release is also in the works.
