Gigan , the Chicago-based band formed by guitarist Eric Hersemann (ex-
Diabolic , Hate Eternal ), will release its sophomore album,
“Quasi-Hallucinogenic Sonic Landscapes” , on June 7 via Willowtip
Records . The CD was recorded in November 2010 at Semaphore studios with
producer Sanford Parker and features such songtitles as “Mountains
Perched Like Beasts Awaiting the Attack” , “Suspended In Cubes Of
Torment” and “Transmogrification Into Bio-Luminoid” . According to a
press release, the new Gigan CD contains “the same boundary-pushing
musical and technical extremity, but also some new elements, instruments
and approaches to delivery.”
Gigan ‘s debut album, “The Order of the False Eye” , came out in July
2008 through Napalm Records .
