Former Obituary / Six Feet Under guitarist Allen West has launched a brand new Tampa, Florida-based death metal band called Southwicked .
According to the group, “It actually all started when Allen West and Marco Vreven [drums] on the Lowbrow ‘Buried in Europe’ tour decided to start a new band, and a couple of months later we were working on some songs and recorded a demo tape in the RedRoom [ Recorders ] in [Tampa]. It’s still unfinished but the songs [that are streaming below] already give you an appetizer about which direction we want to go out with our music.
