Norwegian extreme metal outfit Enslaved picked up the Spellmann Award
for Best Metal Album of 2010 yesterday (March 5th) for their most recent
studio release, “Axioma Ethica Odini,” which was released last year
through Indie Recordings. The award is the Norwegian equivilant to the
Grammys and Enslaved thought off tough competition to earn it, beating
Shining, Solefald and former Emperor frontman, Ihsahn to scoop the
prize.
